Small Fruits
Haskaps/Honeyberries (Lonicera x Caerulea)
Also known as honeyberries, haskaps are easy-to-grow, vigorous and tolerant to a wide range of exposures, soils and pH levels. Sidhu and Sons Nursery proudly carries plants certified by the University of Saskatchewan fruit program. Considered to be a worldwide leader, the program produces plant varieties that are extremely cold hardy, have a unique taste and are high in antioxidants.
We also carry a new Japanese variety introduced by Dr. Maxine Thompson.
Raspberries & Blackberries (Rubus)
Sidhu & Sons Nursery is excited to add a diverse selection of Rubus varieties to complement our other small fruit selections.
We offer tried & true cultivars, coupled with new introductions, from breeding programs across North America.
Commercial growers and retail oriented operations will both find varieties to accommodate their needs.
Blueberries (Vaccinium)
We are one of BC’s most trust suppliers of certified disease-free blueberry shrubs. To ensure our plants are healthy and ‘true to name,’ we DNA test all blueberry shrubs and put in place a preventative Blueberry Scorch Virus program. We offer a wide range of superior varieties for whatever the needs of our customers – including commercial fruit growers and nursery stock growers/retailers – might be.
Grapes (Vitis)
We are proud to offer University of Minnesota award-winning wine grapes, as the only licensed grower in Western Canada. This breeding program is recognized as a leader for wine grapes in the United States, and helps growers achieve high quality cold hardy and disease resistant plant cultivars.
